In progress

I am currently in progress on a design that I found online.  I will post the progress shots as I go.I decided to challenge myself a bit so this is going to take longer than a day.  Let hope I finish before I leave on vacation on thurs.  Not likely :)

Sir Regiwald of Lincolnshire

Another zsculpt for the day.  Took me less time to start figuring things out, so that's awesome :)  I went loosely off of a design by Bret Bean, an awesome artist I found recently.  I thought that it would be a good practice for hair and fun cartoon rendering.

Snapper

ZBRUSH!  I decided that really diving into sculpting would be pretty beneficial to my skillset, and I also havent sculpted for a while.  I wanted to try a little hard surface sculpting considering I havent really done any yet.  This is what came out.

Here is what I was working on for the past 2 days.  The painting isnt where I wanted to get it, but I'm learning as I go.  I was working on line weight in the sketch and the clothing wrinkles in the painting.  This was a fun one, but time to move on!

A little something I found

So I've hit a roadblock with the past two nights trying to put something out.  I've worked on something, but I hated what I did too much...so I tossed it :)  I'll get something new soon, I promise.

Meanwhile here is something I did a few weeks back.  I was trying to stick to a certain style and came out with this.  A little different. but it was fun.

A day late

I missed yesterday so I'll post 2 today.  I had this portrait lying around so I might as well get it up here :)  Not my fav, but its something.  I think it could use a bit more finesse, but I got bored :)

I also thought it would be interesting if the God of war (Kratos on the left) and the Horseman of the apocalypse named "War" had a little spat.  There are various opinions on who would win so far.  I can tell you, I think it would be pretty close.  So far Kratos has the longer resume though.  Not even Zeus could take him down.  Good ol' War has is work cut out for him. :)

Tofu

So tonight while the family was gone I tried out some tofu.  It was my first time actually trying to cook it.  As I pulled the slimy white block of bean curd out of its cardboard box, I really wondered what got me to eat this.  I have always thought that eating tofu was weird, why would you eat tofu instead of actual food?!  Then I started trying to lose a bit of weight...one thing led to another, and here I am eating tofu and counting calories.  It finally got me.

It was actually pretty dang good.  Of course it doesn't hurt to be an world class chef like myself...

Things get weird

So my little family took off for about 2 weeks to Utah to be with family.  Needless to say, when my family is gone, my brain gets silly...and sad and lost.  This guy is pretty similar to how I feel without them here.
